GoldenSide is a musical proposal that combines the genres of indie pop and indietronic with the personal point of view of each member.
We seek to convey the idea that “every person has a golden side and has to let it shine to live fully.” To reach this goal we surround ourselves with skilled professionals from diverse creative areas.
“We believe that being successful requires teamwork. If you are part of a label, publisher, or distributor, or you simply have the musical know-how and you believe that you can get us to the next level, we want to hear your proposal.”
THE GOLDENSIDE TEAM
Although GoldenSide is formed around two core members, it also comprises a close group of friends, collaborators, and professionals in different areas.

Lyricist, composer, producer, arranger, bassist, singer
Aarón Sebastián Marfil Álvarez is Venezuelan-Spanish. His family introduced him to the world of art at a very young age, but it wasn’t until 2011 that he began teaching himself the bass and playing in the punk rock band “Opina en Silencio.” He later joined the indie rock band “Los Daltónicos” as a singer and bassist.
Building on his self-taught beginnings, he pursued a musical education with María Eugenia Atilano at the Ars Nova School of Music and complemented those studies working with bassist Oscar Fanega at Caracas Jazz School. In vocals, he is taught and coached by Ana Santa in Spain.
CARLOS DALTON
Composer, producer, arranger and guitarist
Known as Carlos Dalton, Carlos Manuel Colmenares is the guitarist of GoldenSide. He also plays the bass and percussion and sings background vocals. Carlos developed an interest in music thanks to his grandfather, his main source of inspiration.
His first professional music project was the group “Los Daltónicos,” an indie rock band that toured Venezuela, with stops at various venues, including the prestigious Teatro Teresa Careño. They also played at several festivals and venues in Spain.
